While executive director for the New Orleans Video Access Center (NOVAC), Tim founded the Louisiana Film Crew Training Program (LFCTP) which offers training and job placement within Louisiana’s film and television industry. In 2007, he also developed a business relationship with Apple Computer to create the only adult Apple Authorized Training Center in the state of Louisiana. In 2006, he created the NEA-funded Digital Filmmaking Institute (DFI). In addition, he has instructed workshops on Internet video and digital filmmaking. Through his expertise in Internet video production and marketing techniques, Tim positioned NOVAC as You Tube’s fifth most viewed non-profit in the WORLD! He also generated over $1 million in funding for NOVAC from a variety of businesses and foundations including: National Endowment for the Arts (NEA), Louisiana Recovery Authority (CDBG), HUD, Arts Council of New Orleans, Mary Freeman Wisdom Foundation, RosaMary Foundation, Betty Wisdom Foundation, Keller Family Foundation, Greater New Orleans Foundation, Newman’s Own Foundation, New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Foundation, Pearson Foundation, Louisiana Association of Non-profits (LANO), Andy Warhol Foundation and the Sweet Art New York Katrina Fund.

Tim has worked as an independent media producer for clients including CBS – Amazing Race, TLC – What Not To Wear, BBC-New York, RW Advertising, Roche Pharmaceuticals, The Oprah Winfrey Show, Rebuilding Communities, The Historic New Orleans Collection, New Orleans Outreach, and The National Alliance of Public Charter Schools. He has also worked in media, marketing, business consulting, and publishing for companies including The Tribune Company, United Airlines, Accenture (Andersen Consulting), and AllAdvantage.com, among others.
